Our
curriculum for 2009 will be
“BREAKTHROUGH”
where campers will learn how people from the Bible had a transforming
experience during their encounter with Jesus. This experience changed
their way of seeing God, themselves, and the world around them.
As Jesus journeyed through villages, along lakesides, and down dusty
roads, his life intersected with the lives of a variety of people who
had experienced oppression, pain, neglect, or sickness. In story after
story, Jesus tears down walls of prejudice, provides loving attention to
the forgotten, and heals the sick. Campers will read these stories and
learn how each encounter resulted in a Breakthrough; a chance to move
beyond the present situation into a life-changing experience with the
healing grace and love of God. |
