Rev. David Ivie is the Pastor
of First Presbyterian Church in Muscatine, Iowa. David has been married
to his wife Laura for 18 years and they have three children, Sam 9,
Sarah 6 and Sophia 18 months. He grew up in Texas and worked at Ghili's
Grill & Bar as a restaurant manager in Dallas, TX. He then transferred
to their home office (Brinker International) to work the IT Helpdesk.
Dave decided to take a new path and enrolled in Brite Divinity School
and graduated in 2005.
Dave first heard of Camp Wyoming when he interviewed for the Pastor
position at Muscatine First Presbyterian. He has attended the You & Me
camp with his son Sam, brought kids to the Confirmation Retreat, and
served as a Pastor-In-Residence this past summer. He enjoys watching
college football and playing football or baseball with his son. The last
book Dave read was The Road by Cormac McCarthy. His favorite meal is
anything served at Camp Wyoming, however his greatest joy is eating
supper at home with his family. Thank you Dave for your interest and
