Board Spotlight - Jason Pittman
Rev. Jason Pittman is the Pastor for United Presbyterian Church in Lone
Tree, Iowa and has served on the Camp Wyoming Board since 2006. He is
the Chairman of the Marketing Committee.
Jason grew up in Benton, Arkansas and later graduated with degrees in
Religion and History from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas. He met
his wife, Kelly, when they were both attending the Princeton Theological
Seminary. He graduated Princeton with a Master in Divinity and served a
Church in Philadelphia until Kelly graduated. When they moved to Lone
Tree, Kelly served as a Resident Chaplain at the University of Iowa
hospital. In 2005, Kelly gave birth to their daughter, Kathryn, and she
has been at home with her ever since. In 2007, God blessed Jason and
Kelly again with the birth of their son, Benjamin.
Jason loves music, playing guitar, fishing, and most boating activities.
He loves spending time with his family as much as his schedule will
allow. His favorite movie is “A River Runs Through It” and his favorite
food is pizza. Jason grew up going to church camp in Arkansas. This
experience had a profound effect on him and his faith in God. He sees
camp as “a place where the Gospel is proclaimed. Kids come closer to
Christ and learn to follow and serve Him faithfully.”
We are happy that Jason is an integral part of the Camp Board and
appreciate his time and effort to bring kids closer to Christ. |
