Paige Myers grew up in Newhall, Iowa and attended Camp Wyoming as a
camper for seven summers. She attended MAD, Pioneer, Cave & Climb,
Water Adventures, Seniors, Night Owls, and the Leaders-in-Training (L.I.T.)
program. She has volunteered the past two summers with the Explorer,
Night Owls, and Settler camps.
Paige has a younger sister, Jill, who is a Junior at Benton Community
High School. Her mom, Annette, works for Aegon and her dad, Scott,
works for D & S Sheet Metal. Paige will be entering her Sophomore year
at Iowa State University where she is pursuing a degree in Family &
Consumer Science and Health Education. She hopes to teach Health
Education in High School after she graduates from Iowa State.
Paige enjoys being in the outdoors, camping, quilting, and spending time
with her family and friends. Her favorite food is pizza and her
favorite movie is “Dirty Dancing.” She enjoys the beautiful setting of
Camp Wyoming where she can feel the presence of God. Paige loves the
community and feels it has had a tremendous impact on her faith. The
warmth of the people within the camp community enlivens her spirit and
connection with other Christians.
We are grateful
to have individuals like Paige give up a week of their summer to
volunteer their gifts and talents for the ministry at Camp Wyoming.
