The Sorgenfry Annual Reunion was held Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the Camp Wyoming Owl’s Nest with 63 in attendance. A potluck meal was followed by 90% of the group hiking to the Swinging Bridge. Birthday cake with ice cream and S’mores around the campfire added the finishing touch to their great day.
Two members present were campers in 1960, the year camp started. Several others were campers and counselors throughout the years. “Camp Wyoming, thanks for perseverance so folks like us can enjoy the outdoors.” says reunion host Pat Sorgenfry of Lisbon, Iowa.
