Leave the familiar places of
your life for the adventure and beauty of Camp Wyoming.
Campers will enjoy the
traditional summer camp activities like swimming, arts and crafts,
games, hiking, campfires,
Christ
Walk and Bible studies. Campers will also
participate in other exciting age-appropriate activities such as
cookouts, archery, creeks stomping, canoeing, and caving. Each camper settles into a
group with a ratio of one counselor to six campers. In this small
group Christian Camping philosophy, campers are encouraged to be
themselves in a comfortable, family setting. This will alleviate
some of the peer pressure that can occur within a larger group of youth.
Consequently, campers will feel supported by their group with helps
develop rich, personal relationships with each other and with God.
Opportunities are abound within this environment to make new friends,
learn and practice outdoor living skills, promote stewardship, and show
appreciation for God's world. Please recognize the grade level
for each camp is the grade level your child will have completed in the
Spring of 2008. |
